A catch-all feature that is enabled for a certain mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise stated, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten address under the exact same domain, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential if you run a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving spam, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters in order to receive only legitimate emails in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting
You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox with ease if you’ve got a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet extremely easy to use, and it will enable you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks. All the mailboxes that you have created will be shown alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one you will see a small-size "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking it once more will deactivate it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have another one with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel that comes with each and every semi-dedicated server package that we’re offering will allow you to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulties even in case you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All you need to do to achieve that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you have set up with your domains in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. As you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will let you know if you’ve already created a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. If you reach the decision that you do not need the feature any longer, you can deactivate it by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager section will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
